Canned Pickle Peaches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 3/4 c. sugar
    1 pt. white vinegar
    1 c. water
    6 sticks cinnamon
    2 tsp. cloves
    6 lb. peaches (about 24 to 26 medium peaches, leave peaches whole)
Preparation
    Combine sugar, vinegar, water, cinnamon and cloves and boil for 5 minutes.
    Add peaches.
    Simmer 10 minutes or until peaches are tender.
    Put in clean jars and cover with syrup and seal.
