Fudge - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sugar
2/3 c. Hershey's cocoa
1/8 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. whole milk
1/4 c. butter or margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Butter 9-inch cake pan. Set aside. Combine sugar, cocoa and salt in heavy 4-quart saucepan. Stir in milk; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to full rolling boil. Boil, without stirring, to hard-ball stage or 234\u00b0 on candy thermometer or use cold water and drop a few drops of candy until it makes a ball. Remove from heat. Add butter and vanilla. Cool until butter melts, then beat until candy loses some of its gloss and thickens. Pour into pan.
