Bavarian Apple Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter or margarine
    3/8 c. sugar
    3/8 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. flour
    12 oz. softened cream cheese
    3/8 c. sugar
    2 small eggs or 1 egg and 1 egg white
    3/4 tsp. vanilla
    6 c. cooking apples, peeled and sliced
    1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 tsp. cinnamon
    3/8 c. sliced almonds (optional)
    1/2 c. margarine
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. flour
    8 oz. cream cheese
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. apples
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 c. almonds
Preparation
    Combine the first 4 ingredients, mixing with pastry blender until crumbly like pie crust.
    Press into bottom and 1-inch up sides of a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
