Ingredients

1/2 c. margarine
6 Tbsp. sugar
6 Tbsp. brown sugar, packed firm
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. water
1 c. flour plus 2 Tbsp.
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. chopped nuts
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation

In a
large
bowl, cream margarine and sugars.
Beat in egg; add
vanilla
and
water.
Combine
flour, soda and salt. Stir into creamed mixture.
Add nuts and semi-sweet chocolate chips; mix
well.
Drop
by
well rounded 1/2 teaspoonful onto greased cookie
sheets.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Cool on wire racks. Yield: 4 dozen.
