Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 ripe bananas, mashed
    1 c. sifted pastry flour
    1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    3 Tbsp. cold water
    1 tsp. vanilla
    nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Cream together shortening and sugar.
    Add the eggs, then the mashed bananas.
    Add dry ingredients; add water.
    Bake in 2 (7 1/2 x 4-inch) pans or 1 regular loaf pan which have been greased and lined with waxed paper.
    Bake for about 1 hour at 350\u00b0 or until done.
