Simple Salisbury Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can mushroom soup
    1 lb. hamburg
    1/3 c. bread crumbs
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. finely chopped onion
    1 1/2 c. sliced mushrooms
Preparation
    In bowl mix thoroughly 1/2 cup soup, hamburg, bread crumbs, egg and onions; shape into 5 patties.
    In skillet over medium heat, cook patties a few at a time until brown on both sides.
    Spoon off fat.
    Stir in remaining soup and mushrooms; return patties to skillet.
    Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 20 minutes or until done, turning occasionally.
    Makes 6 servings.
