White Mountain Icing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. white corn syrup
1/4 c. water
1/2 c. egg whites
2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Boil the sugar, corn syrup and water to 242\u00b0.
Beat egg whites stiff.
Pour hot syrup mixture in a thin steady stream into egg whites.
Continue beating until it holds very stiff peaks.
Blend in vanilla.
