Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. Great Northern or navy beans
    8 oz. pinto beans
    seasoning salt
    pepper
    1/4 c. white onion, chopped fine
    1 Tbsp. chopped garlic
    12 oz. chopped ham, cut in 1/2-inch squares
    5 medium potatoes, diced
Preparation
    Soak beans for 3 hours in cold water.
    Bring to boil.
    Cut back heat.
    Add salt, pepper, onion, and garlic.
    Cook, covered, until beans are done, about 2 hours.
    One-half hour before beans are done, add ham and potatoes.
