Seafoam Candy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. water
3 Tbsp. corn syrup
2 stiffly beaten egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Stir sugars and water in saucepan until well dissolved.
Add syrup.
Cook to 252\u00b0, hard ball stage.
Pour slowly over beaten whites.
Beat until mixture is light and fluffy and piles without spreading.
Add vanilla and nuts.
Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper.
Coat with dipping chocolate if desired.
