Hamburg Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef (extra lean)
    1 can tomatoes (2 c.)
    1 can tomato sauce (8 oz.)
    1 tsp. sugar (or sugar substitute)
    2 c. water
    1/2 envelope onion soup mix (dry)
    1 (10 oz.) bag mixed veggies
    1/4 head cabbage
    1/2 c. elbow macaroni
Preparation
    Brown ground beef.
    Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, frozen veggies, onion soup mix and sugar.
    Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer.
