Cheddar Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. water
    3 chicken bouillon cubes
    4 medium potatoes, diced
    1 medium onion, diced
    1 c. thinly sliced carrots
    1/2 c. diced green pepper (optional)
    1/3 c. margarine
    1/3 c. all-purpose flour
    3 1/2 c. milk
    4 c. or 1 lb. Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Combine water and bouillon cubes in potatoes.
    Bring to a boil.
    Add vegetables; cover and simmer 12 minutes.
    Melt butter. Blend flour and cook 1 minute.
    Gradually add milk and cook over medium heat until thickened.
    Stir constantly.
    Add cheese and stir until melted.
    Cook over low heat; do not boil.
