White Chocolate Cranberry Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine or butter, softened
    2/3 c. packed brown sugar
    2 large eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    9 oz. white chocolate, coarsely chopped
    1 c. chopped walnuts
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. fresh cranberries, coarsely chopped
    1/3 c. granulated sugar
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Line a 9 x 13-inch pan with foil so foil extends 2 inches on the long sides.
    Lightly butter bottom and sides of pan.
    Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
    In another bowl, mix at medium speed, butter and sugars together for 2 minutes, until creamy.
    Beat in eggs one at a time.
    Beat well after each one.
    Beat in vanilla.
    Gradually add flour mixture until just combined.
    Using a wooden spoon, stir in white chocolate, cranberries and nuts.
    Scrape batter into pan. Smooth out.
    Bake for 30 to 40 minutes on middle rack until top is golden brown and toothpick inserted 2 inches from center has a few moist crumbs clinging to it.
    Cool bars.
    Lift out of pan using foil as handles, invert and peel off foil.
    Invert again and cut into bars.
