Chocolate Jimmy Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. sugar
4 beaten egg yolks
1 c. strong coffee
2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. sifted flour
3/4 c. chocolate jimmies
1 tsp. vanilla
4 stiffly beaten egg whites
3/4 c. nuts

Preparation

In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.
Mix in egg yolks, then add sifted flour, baking powder and vanilla.
Mix in flour and coffee slowly, alternating between the two.
Add chocolate jimmies.
Fold in nuts and egg whites.
Bake in an ungreased angel food tin for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
Cool before removing from pan.
