Lazy Day Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. unpeeled, sliced cucumbers
    6 medium sliced onions
    3 green bell peppers, sliced
    3 red bell peppers, sliced
    1 c. salt (canning)
    5 c. white sugar
    3 c. white vinegar
    2 tsp. mustard seed
    1 1/2 tsp. celery salt
Preparation
    Put in large container first 5 ingredients.
    Put ice cubes on top and let stand 3 hours.
    Drain and rinse well.
    Put in large pan.
    Boil next 4 ingredients for 5 minutes, then pour over pickles while hot.
    Let cool.
    Put in glass jars and store in refrigerator.
    Keeps a long, long time.
