Easy Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes (the small cubes kind)
    1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1/2 c. chopped onion (optional)
    10 slices American cheese
Preparation
    Mix all but cheese together and put in greased pan.
    Lay the cheese over top of mixture.
    Cover with foil and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or until done.
