Cheese Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. frozen hash browns, thawed for 30 minutes*
    1 c. diced onions
    1 stick butter
    1 lb. (16 oz.) sour cream
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    8 oz. shredded extra-sharp cheddar cheese
Preparation
    *Can substitute 6 medium potatoes, cooked and cubed.
