Black-Eyed Pea Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans black-eyed peas, drained
    1 c. green pepper, chopped
    1/2 clove garlic
    dash of hot sauce
    dash of pepper
    1/2 c. red onion, chopped
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Combine peas, onion, green pepper and garlic; toss lightly. Combine remaining ingredients.
    Mix well and pour over pea mixture.
    Cover and refrigerate at least 12 hours.
    Remove garlic before serving.
    Yield 6 to 8 servings.
