Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. cloves
Preparation
    Mix together soft shortening, sugar and eggs.
    Sift together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt.
    Mix all together and form into balls the size of walnuts.
    Roll in a mixture of sugar, cinnamon and cloves.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for about 10 minutes.
