Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. mincemeat (1 pkg. prepared as for pies, only omit sugar)
    2 c. light brown sugar
    1 c. water
    2 eggs
    2 Tbsp. shortening (Crisco)
    4 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Prepare mincemeat as for pie, but omit sugar.
    Add brown sugar, shortening and water; let sit until cool.
    Add 2 beaten eggs, flour, soda, salt and nuts.
    Bake in 2 bread tins at 350\u00b0 about an hour.
    Turn out of pans and let cool.
