Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. squash
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 small onion
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. milk
    1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 c. cracker crumbs (Ritz)
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Combine first 2 ingredients.
    Cook, drain and mash together. Add remaining ingredients, reserving 1/2 cup cheese to sprinkle on top.
    Pour into buttered casserole dish and bake at 375\u00b0 until firm and cheese is slightly brown.
