Squash Garden Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 small squash, coarsely chopped
    2 small onions, chopped
    1/8 tsp. garlic salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar
    salt to taste
    3 canned tomatoes, chopped
    1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/4 c. melted margarine
    1/4 c. bread crumbs
Preparation
    Cook squash, onions, garlic salt, pepper and brown sugar in small amount of salted water in saucepan until squash is tender; drain.
    Add tomatoes; mix well.
    Spoon into casserole.
    Sprinkle with cheese and mixture of margarine and bread crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Yield:
    6 servings.
