Potato Pancakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 medium potatoes
    2 medium onions
    2 eggs
    2 Tbsp. flour (about)
    salt and pepper
    vegetable oil
Preparation
    Peel potatoes; put in deep cold water until ready to prepare pancakes.
    Grate potatoes; press out as much liquid as possible. Grate onions.
    Blend potatoes with eggs, flour, salt and pepper. Add onions.
    Heat 1 inch of oil in frypan.
    Drop about 1 tablespoon of mixture into pan.
    Fry; turn once when golden crisp on each side.
    Drain on paper towels.
    Serve with sour cream, sugar or applesauce.
