Flour Tortillas - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. flour
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
4 Tbsp. shortening
1 1/2 c. water
Preparation

Mix dry ingredients.
Cut in shortening.
Add water.
Knead 15 to 20 times.
Let sit for 10 minutes.
Divide dough into 12 equal balls and roll out each tortilla.
Cook on hot griddle, turning once.
Makes 12 large tortillas.
