Ingredients

1 plain cake mix
fresh frozen fruit
ice cream
chopped pecans or toasted coconut
Preparation

Bake a plain cake in a square pan.
Cut each layer crossways, so it
will fit in a loaf pan.
Put a layer of cake in dish.
Add a layer of fresh frozen fruit, such as strawberries or peaches or your favorite.
Cover with a layer of ice cream, which has been slightly softened.
Add the same mixture again on top of the first layer; top with chopped nuts.
Store in freezer; slice for serving.
