Lattuge In Brodo(Lettuce In Broth) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 small-leaf lettuces
    2 Tbsp. marjoram leaves
    1 c. coarse stale breadcrumbs, soaked in milk and squeezed dry
    2 eggs
    salt and ground pepper
    1 egg white, beaten
    6 c. light meat broth
    1 oz. dried porcini mushrooms
    2 garlic cloves
    1/4 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
    6 Tbsp. olive oil
    6 slices coarse textured bread
Preparation
    Remove the outside leaves of the lettuces and extract the hearts, leaving heads intact.
    Soak the mushrooms in lukewarm water to cover for 30 minutes.
    Drain the mushrooms and chop together with 2 lettuce hearts, the marjoram, garlic and breadcrumbs.
    Mix in 2 eggs, Parmesan, salt and pepper.
