Tomato Bisque - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. canned tomatoes
    4 c. milk
    4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    pepper
    salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Put tomatoes in saucepan, juice too.
    Chop tomatoes into small pieces.
    Add the butter, sugar, pepper, soda and salt; bring to a boil.
    Boil about 5 minutes.
    Add milk and bring again to a boil. Serve as is, without straining.
    Don't ask me why it doesn't curdle, but it doesn't.
    Serves 6.
