Sauteed Cabbage And Carrots With Ginger - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    1 c. chopped green onions
    1 large clove garlic, minced
    3 Tbsp. peeled and finely chopped ginger
    1/2 tsp. crushed red peppers
    1 large head green cabbage
    2 large carrots, peeled and shredded
Preparation
    Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat; add the green onions, garlic, ginger and hot red pepper flakes. Saute for 3 minutes until onions start to wilt.
    Add shredded cabbage and carrots.
    Stir-fry for 5 minutes, tossing frequently. Cover and cook over low heat for 3 or 4 minutes until cabbage is tender.
    Transfer to a serving bowl.
    Serve immediately.
