Dump Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple
    1 can cherry pie filling
    1 (15 oz.) pkg. yellow cake mix
    3/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. chopped walnuts (optional)
Preparation
    Dump pineapple in buttered 9 by 13 inch pan. Add cherry pie filling on top. Sprinkle dry cake mix over fruit. Dot with butter. Top with chopped nut, if desired. Bake for 45 minutes at 375\u00b0. Serve warm with sweetened whipped cream or ice cream.
