Pumpkin Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. shortening
2 2/3 c. sugar
4 eggs
2/3 c. water
1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin
3 1/3 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
2/3 c. coarsely chopped nuts
2/3 c. raisins
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease 2 loaf pans (9 x 5 x 3-inch). Cream shortening and sugar thoroughly.
Add eggs, water and pumpkin.
Blend in dry ingredients.
Stir in nuts and raisins and bake in prepared pans for 60 to 70 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
