Blackened Cajun Green Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh green beans
    1 tsp. cajun seasoning mix
    1/2 c. corn meal
    2 Tbsp. veg. oil
    1/2 stick butter
Preparation
    Blanch beans in boiling water.
    Drain and cool slightly. Pour oil over beans and toss to cover well.
    Place beans in a Ziploc bag with seasoning and cornmeal.
    Shake well to coat beans.
    Melt butter in an iron skillet and saute beans until slightly blackened.
    Serves 4 - 5.
