Venison Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. venison
    2 Tbsp. oil
    6 c. boiling water
    4 medium potatoes, diced
    4 carrots, diced
    2 turnips, diced
    4 onions, diced
Preparation
    Cut the venison into 1-inch cubes.
    Roll in flour and brown in a small amount of oil.
    Add the boiling water and black pepper to the browned meat.
    Cover and simmer for 2 to 3 hours.
    Add the diced vegetables and simmer until tender. Use 2 tablespoons of flour moistened with water to thicken the remaining liquid.
