Limping Susan - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cut okra
    1 c. rice (uncooked)
    2 1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1 small onion, chopped
    5 slices bacon (uncooked)
Preparation
    Cut okra, onion and bacon in small pieces, then saute together in pan until bacon is cooked.
    Add rice, salt and water.
    Cover and cook on medium heat until all liquid is gone, about 20 minutes.
