Sweet Corn Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    2 cans corn, drained (14 oz.)
    1 can creamed corn (14 oz.)
    8 oz. sour cream
    1/8 c. sugar
    1 pkg. corn muffin mix (8 oz.)
    chopped onions (optional)
    chopped green peppers (optional)
    1 stick oleo
    3 to 4 nice sweet potatoes
    3 apples
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Place oleo in a large skillet; heat slowly. Peel and slice sweet potatoes. Peel, core and slice apples. Add sugar. Cook/fry slowly, turning often.
