Cranberry Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 Tbsp. melted shortening
1 beaten egg
1 c. chopped raw cranberries
1 orange
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Sift together flour, sugar, salt, baking powder and soda.
Use juice and grated rind of orange.
Add enough water to make 3/4 cup liquid.
Add to dry ingredients.
Add egg, nuts and chopped cranberries.
Stir well; pour into well-greased and floured loaf pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for about 50 minutes.
Makes one loaf.
