Ingredients

1 stick margarine
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. flour
3 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 unbaked 9-inch deep dish pie crust
Preparation

Melt margarine at low temperature.
Mix sugar and flour together and add to margarine.
Mix at low speed or stir until smooth.
Add eggs.
Mix to keep smooth look.
Add buttermilk and vanilla.
Mix until smooth again.
Pour into unbaked pie crust and start out baking at 425\u00b0 for 5 minutes.
Reduce to 400\u00b0 and cook for 40 to 45 minutes until done.
Test with toothpick.
