Pork Chops Herbed - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 6 (1-inch) pork chops
    salt and freshly ground black pepper
    ground basil
    thyme
    1 tsp. butter
    3/4 c. tomato juice
    3/4 c. consomme
Preparation
    Rub seasonings
    into
    chops.
    Saute 7 minutes each side. Meanwhile, bring juice
    and consomme to simmer.
    Add pork chops and bake, covered for 30 minutes at 325\u00b0.
