Chili Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground chuck
    1 (16 oz.) kidney beans, undrained
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 large green pepper, chopped
    6 to 8 drops hot sauce (red)
    6 c. chopped lettuce
    8 oz. can tomato sauce
    1 Tbsp. chili powder or to taste
    salt and pepper (black)
    grated medium sharp Cheddar cheese
    diced tomato
    sour cream
    tortilla chips
Preparation
    Cook ground chuck, onion and green pepper in microwave.
    Put meat mixture in a large skillet on medium-high heat and add kidney beans, hot sauce, tomato sauce, salt, black pepper and chili powder.
    Bring to a boil.
    Turn heat down and simmer until thick. Remove from heat and cool slightly.
    Mix with lettuce.
