Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. Log Cabin syrup
    1/2 c. (1/2 stick) Spread Sticks (Parkay)
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. pecan halves or chopped pecans
    1 unbaked pastry shell (9-inch)
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Bring syrup, spread and sugar to boil in 2-quart saucepan.
    Boil gently, uncovered, 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Cool slightly.
    Place pecans in pastry shell.
    Beat eggs, vanilla and salt in large bowl.
    Gradually stir in cooled syrup mixture.
    Pour over pecans in pastry shell.
    Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean.
    Cool on wire rack.
    Makes 8 servings.
