Rabbit With Abbey-Beer - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 rabbit, cut in pieces
1 big onion
1 laurel leaf, thyme
1 Tbsp. vinegar
2 Tbsp. maizena
33 cl dark abbey-beer
1 c. water
2 lumps sugar
pepper, salt and nutmeg
Preparation

Burnish the pieces of rabbit (with salt and pepper) in butter. Add the beer, water and vinegar.
Add the cut onion, sugar, thyme and laurel.
Let it all simmer for about 1 hour.
Thicken the sauce with the maizena. Serve with boiled potatoes and apple compote.
