Tijuana Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion
    3 c. stewed tomatoes
    12 oz. tomato sauce
    2 (4 oz.) cans diced green chilies
    1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
    12 flour tortillas
    1 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 1/2 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Brown beef and onion in skillet; add next four ingredients. Simmer 15 minutes.
    Place 1/2 cup of mixture in a 9 x 13-inch pan; place a layer of tortillas on top (4 for each layer overlapping), then a layer of sauce mixture, then cheese.
    Repeat layers after completing second layer.
    Add sour cream.
    Add last layer and bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
