Holiday Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
1 c. light corn syrup
2 eggs
2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. shortening, melted
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. coarsely chopped pecans
1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell
Preparation

Combine first 7 ingredients; beat well.
Stir in pecans.
Pour into pastry shell.
Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Reduce oven temperature to 350\u00b0 and continue to bake for 25 minutes.
