Grandmother Lowman'S Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    9 or 10 eggs, lightly beaten
    1 1/2 c. currants
    1 lb. butter
    1/2 lb. citron
    1 lb. figs
    1 c. grape juice
    1 tsp. mace
    1 1/2 lb. raisins
    1 1/2 lb. sugar
    1 1/2 lb. flour
    1/4 lb. shelled walnuts
    1 lb. dates
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Cream butter; add sugar and cream thoroughly.
    Add eggs and mix.
    Use half the flour to dust the raisins, currants, citron, dates, figs and nuts.
    Mix spices with remaining flour.
    Add grape juice to creamed mixture and add remaining dry ingredients.
    Grease and line with brown paper a tube or loaf pan(s).
    Fill the pan(s) half full with mixture.
    Bake in a slow 225\u00b0 oven for 3 hours or until done.
