Ingredients
-
2 c. granulated sugar
4 Tbsp. cocoa
3 1/2 c. oatmeal
1 stick margarine (1/4 c.)
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 1/2 c. starter juice
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 large can (2 1/2 c.) sliced peaches and juice
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 large can chunk pineapple with juice
1 1/2 c. fruit (no juice; if pineapple and peaches are still in large chunks, cut them into smaller pieces)
2/3 c. Wesson oil (I used corn oil)
1 c. chopped pecans (can use more)
1 box yellow cake mix
4 eggs
1 small box vanilla instant pudding (even if using a pudding cake mix, add the pudding mix)
1/2 c. coconut (I omitted the coconut, I don't like the texture in the cake)
Preparation
-
Mix ingredients
with
a
spoon (dry ingredients first) and bake in greased and floured tube pan.
(I used a Bundt pan and like it much
better,
the
cake
took less time to cook.) Bake at 300\u00b0 for
1 hour in regular tube pan (mine required an additional 20 minutes).
Stick
a
wooden toothpick in cake to test it.
If toothpick
is clean, it's done.
Don't overcook. You want it to be good and moist.
