Favorite Berry Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    berries or fruit (use any combination such as: 2 1/2 c. blackberries and/or combination of berries or fruits, 1 c. crushed pineapple added will cut the tartness of some berries)
    1/3 c. brown sugar
    3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. walnuts or pecan halves
    whipped topping
Preparation
    Sweeten berries or
    fruit
    to
    taste and place in a 7 x 11-inch baking
    pan.
    Preheat
    oven
    to
    350\u00b0.
    Combine
    brown sugar and oil
    in
    a medium bowl; stir in flour, baking powder and baking soda.
    Mix
    well
    with
    a
    fork
    or pastry blender. Spoon mixture evenly over fruit.\tDot with butter or margarine cut into small pieces.
    Arrange walnut or pecan pieces on top. Bake\tfor 40 minutes.
    Cool slightly before serving.
    Top with whipped topping. Serves 6 to 8.
