Enchilada Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 minced clove garlic
2 Tbsp. butter
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 Tbsp. chili powder
1 - 8 oz. can tomato sauce
1 lg. bag corn chips
1/2 lb. (about 2 c.) grated cheese (sharp or mild)
2/3 c. water
1 c. black olives, halved (optional)
Preparation

Brown beef, onion, and garlic in butter.
Add seasoning, olives, and tomato sauce.
In a 2 quart casserole dish, alternate layers of corn chips, meat sauce, and 1 1/2 c. cheese.
Top with remaining 1/2 c. cheese.
Add 2/3 c. water.
Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes or longer if cheese has not melted.
Serve with salad.
