Vegetable Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    tomatoes
    onion
    cucumbers
    pepper (green)
    1 c. vinegar
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. oil
    4 Tbsp. water
Preparation
    Dice up all vegetables; add vinegar, sugar, oil and water. Put
    a dash of salt and pepper, if desired. Serve on lettuce.
