Venison Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    1 c. margarine
    2 1/2 lb. venison strips
    2 small cans mushrooms (undrained)
    salt and pepper to taste
    16 oz. sour cream
Preparation
    Saute onion in butter until golden; set aside.
    Roll meat in flour.
    Cook until brown.
    Saute in remaining butter.
    Place in pot.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Cook on medium for about 20 or 30 minutes.
