Creamy Spinach Curried Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. minced onions
    1 small clove garlic, pressed
    2 Tbsp. corn oil
    4 c. chicken broth
    2 (10 1/2 oz.) pkg. fresh spinach, finely chopped
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1 tsp. curry powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. white pepper
    2 c. cooked brown rice
    1 lemon, thinly sliced
Preparation
    Saute onions and garlic in oil until tender; add chicken broth and bring to a boil.
    Stir in spinach; cover and simmer 10 minutes.
    Pour mixture into blender; puree.
    Return pureed mixture to saucepan; add milk, seasonings and rice.
    Heat thoroughly. Serve with a twist of lemon.
