7 Layer Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. rice, uncooked
    1 c. corn (whole kernel)
    2 small cans tomato sauce
    3/4 c. water or liquid from corn
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1 lb. ground beef
    salt and pepper
    4 strips bacon
Preparation
    Place rice and corn in layers in greased 2-quart casserole. Pour over 1 can of tomato sauce and 1/2 can water.
    Add onions, green pepper, uncooked beef and seasonings.
    Add second can of tomato sauce and 1/2 can of water.
    Cover meat with the bacon, cut in halves.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Uncover and bake 30 minutes more or until done.
