Almond Joys - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/4 lb. almonds or other nut meats, ground
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream the butter; add the sugar and mix well.
    Add the egg, nuts and flour; add the vanilla.
    Chill dough.
    Cut off small bits of dough and roll into finger thick pieces, about 1 1/2 inches long.
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for about 8 minutes at 375\u00b0. Remove the cookies and roll in a mixture of 1/4 cup sugar and 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon.
